LE-01 "Ashes, Ashes, We All Fall Down"
(6 Dramas, Actors: 2-4, Contains a brief commentary after each drama)

1. Cain and Abel - The brothers bring their offerings before God, but God is displeased with the leftovers presented by Cain. In a jealous rage, Cain plots the murder of his younger brother. Later, God confronts Cain and banishes him to a solitary life.

2. Adam and Eve - Eve encounters a slick-talking Tempter and is persuaded to disobey God's command, and Eve convinces Adam to join her in disobedience. God banishes the two from the Garden and then squares off with the Tempter himself.

3. Abraham - A witty Abraham is an expert at bargaining and talks God into saving the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah for the sake of only a few righteous people.

4. Noah - God visits Noah in his workshop as Noah is working on his latest invention, "seat ropes" for chariots. God reveals his plan to flood the earth as a sign that he does indeed "take sin seriously," and expects people to take it seriously, too.

5. Jonah - God intends to send Jonah to the murderous Assyrians to give them His Word, but reluctant Jonah attempts to disguise himself. That having failed, he tries to run away, but God warns "you can run, but you can't hide!"

6. Joseph - A lively meeting between Joseph and Pharaoh, with the Wine Steward caught in the middle. Joseph becomes Pharaoh's official dream interpreter, Pharaoh develops an interest in the "unique Hebrew God who loves all people," and the Wine Steward is demoted to assistant Secretary of Agriculture.
